The Loop

The Loop - Shandy Lawson A fast and exciting read, Loop was not at all what I expected. Ben and Maggie are caught in a Time Loop - they are doomed to relive the same two days over and over. The worst part? They die at the end of the second day. They do everything they can to fight Time and change their Fate, but what can two teens do against the whole universe?
Loop was exciting, adventurous, and fun. The characters are very relateable; their emotions and dialogue are well-written and believable. The plot is fast-paced, but doesn't leave the reader behind and confused. The lack of apocalyptic disasters and corrupt governments is refreshing, as is the stand-alone nature of the book. I definitely recommend it for middle grade and high school readers.
